Focus on Your Strengths, Manage Your Weaknesses through Delegation and Leveraging!

Why do we emphasis on focus on your strengths instead of working on to develop on your weaknesses? The reason is simple. We only have 24 hours per day. And out of the 24 hours, we only have a few hours to ourselves to work on personal development, and sometimes we can’t even get a time in a day to do so. And because of that, we need to prioritize – question being what will you prioritize? Developing your strengths or developing your weaknesses?

Say for example:

There are 2 individuals who inspired to become the top NBA basketball players. Both can play basketball well: one is really good in it and has natural talent in basketball. The other one is just an average player. With the same training, the one with the natural talent will continue to excel faster in basketball better than the average player. The average player may achieve the level of the player with natural talent given more times/resources, but the achievement is nonguaranteed.

Focus on your strengths – you empower yourself to excellence! You become better in things that you are already good at. Perhaps the best!

And the best part is --- you will be very motivated to be excelled and be a better person. Why? First, when you are good in it, you know it. As the skill improved, you know it, and you see the results. Knowing you can be better and be the best and know that you have the x-factor, which no one else can have, will continue to keep you motivated and inspired to be the best! People tend to work at their best when they know you can be the best! So, focus on your strengths and make the best of your strengths.
